Air Canada stopped issuing new travel vouchers (ACTVs) on June 6, 2023.
Existing ACTVs are still valid for 24 months from their issue date and can be used until the balance is zero.
You can use your ACTV for Air Canada flights, and transfer it to someone else.

As of June 6, 2023, Air Canada discontinued issuing Travel Vouchers (ACTVs). Existing ACTVs remain valid and can be redeemed until their balance is depleted.

If you have an existing ACTV, you can still use it. Redeem your ACTV until its balance reaches zero.

Eligibility and Criteria for Air Canada Travel Vouchers Air Canada offers a single travel voucher for each booking. Eligibility is determined by your ticket number and booking reference.

Eligible and Non-Eligible Tickets

If your Air Canada ticket isn’t refundable, you can usually get a travel voucher. Cancel your ticket before your flight to receive the voucher. This policy doesn’t apply to fully refundable tickets.
